Blood, Bones & Gooey Bits
Our topic this term is “Blood, Bones and Gooey Bits” which is a Science topic and will cover keeping healthy, the skeleton, teeth and the digestive system. Our PE sessions will be based on ball skills and cooperative games – please could you make sure that your child has a named PE kit (House PE t-shirt, black shorts/jogging bottoms and daps/trainers) in school every day. During the first weeks our focus has been on “Challenging Yourself” encouraging the children to develop independence. We also had a visit from the Life Bus when the children ‘Met the Brain’ and have had our Blood, Bones and Gooey bits launch session which involved lots of goo and fun.

Class 4V – Mrs Vincent
Our teaching assistants are Miss Holford, Mrs Odurny, Miss Savage and Mrs Williams. We also have Mrs Stones and Miss Williams supporting the children. During this school year the children will take part in Forest School and the Year 4 children will have the opportunity to go horse riding at the City Farm. Year 3 children are invited to our Teddy Bears’ Sleepover in October.
